I have been fascinated by anatomy and physiology since before I could talk. At age 24, I became ill from a parasitic infection. I struggled with finding the right treatment and although the parasites were treated and evicted, they left me with lasting damage. For years I struggled to heal until I received a life-changing massage which rapidly cleared away the majority of the fatigue I had suffered for four years and began to restore my health. Blown away by how powerful of a healing modality massage could be, I enrolled in The New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics where I studied massage, reflexology, Chinese medicine, herbalism, homeopathy, and flower essences, earning a certificate for Natural Therapeutics. With these credentials, I became a licensed massage therapist so that I could provide others with powerful healing experiences like the one I’d had and in 2019 I founded Haya Healing LLC.

Prior to studying Natural Therapeutics, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Prescott College, which I integrate into the philosophy of the work I now do. Humans are essential members of the ecosystems we inhabit and the healing of one is mirrored by the other. Like an ecosystem, the human body naturally seeks equilibrium. My goal is to act as a facilitator to find equilibrium both within the body and in the relationship between our species and the ecosystems with which we are intertwined.

I live a full life spending my free time exploring wilderness areas on foot or by mountain bike, preferably with a dog by my side.
